Creating an archive using the standard interface

You must perform 4 to 5 simple steps to create an archive:

· Click the New button on the toolbar, select New archive from the File menu or simply press [Ctrl+N]. This will display the New archive window.  
· Select a folder to store the archive in by using the drive selector and folder tree, just as you select a folder in Windows Explorer.  
· Enter the archive name in the "Save as:" input field. If this name contains drive and folder information, it will override the selections in the drive selector and folder tree. Do not yet enter the name of the files you wish to add to the archive, that is done later.  
· Optionally check the Show Add dialog to immediately start adding files to the archive.  
· Click the OK button.  

This will display an empty archive on the main window and you are now ready to add files to it.

You are also able to create archives using the Wizard interface, the Windows Explorer interface and the Drag and Drop interface.
